Sarah LaVerne Smith, 80, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2024 with her loving husband of 62 years by her side.
Ms. Smith was born to the late Guy and Helen Foshee in Augusta, GA. She had a sweet and kind spirit who loved everyone she met. She lived to take care of her son, Michael. She adored Michael so much and wanted to ensure he received the right care in education, so she worked as a paraprofessional at his school. Ms. Smith was a woman of God who was a member of Fleming Baptist Church.
Ms. Smith is survived by her husband, Wade Smith; daughter, Andria Miller (Dannie); son, Michael Smith; granddaughter, Candice Cesarini; and great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Emma Edwards; and many extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
