Roy Solomon Beasley Jr.

Roy Solomon Beasley, Jr. , husband of Susie Beasley, entered into rest on June 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013, at 11 AM, in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor David Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Hephzibah-Vance Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmie Beasley, Billy Beasley, Jr., Jeff Taylor, Jeff Beasley, Logan Prince, and Jimmie Prince.

Mr. Beasley was a retired member of the Local 150 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and was a member of Belair Baptist Church, where he was active in the World Changers Organization. He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid gardener. Roy will be truly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy S. and Venera Beasley; his son, Rodney Beasley; daughter, Kelly Beasley; and sister, Brenda Mitchell.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Scott (Cathy) Beasley; stepsons, Jimmie and Allen Prince; brothers, Joe Bill (Nell) Beasley and Donnie (Virginia) Beasley; sisters, Betty (Earl) LaFontaine, Edna Murray, and Glenda (Artie) Soares; and 7 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Sunday, June 16, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Belair Baptist Church, 599 S. Old Belair Rd., Grovetown GA 30813.
