Augusta, Ga - Mary Anne Sherrod Harris, 61, passed away at Doctors Hospital. Graveside Services will be held 2 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at Westover Memorial Park. She was the daughter of William and Selma Sherrod Harris. She retired from the Richmond County School system where she was an elementary school teacher. Mary Anne enjoyed pet birds, arts and crafts, collecting coins and above all she was an avid reader. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mary Anne is survived by her brothers; Gene (Shirley) Harris of Valdosta, Georgia, Mark (Evalyn) Harris of Augusta, Georgia, Sister-in-law Mary Harris of Aiken, South Carolina; nieces, Angie, Melody, Michelle and Jordana and nephew, Quinn.
