Kevin Michael Stewart, 67, entered into rest on February 20, 2024.
Mr. Stewart was born in Philadelphia, PA but considered Georgia his home. He was an avid UGA and Falcons Football fan. Mr. Stewart was a self-taught musician who played the guitar. He was a truck driver for the last 40 years. Mr. Stewart was passionate about racing dirt bikes and muscle cars. He enjoyed history and was knowledgeable and passionate about Civil War history.
Mr. Stewart is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Stewart; brothers, Robert John Stewart Jr., David Brian Stewart and Major Jeffrey A. Stewart. Survivors include his loving wife of 11 years, Rebecca Smith Stewart; children, Casey Austin Stewart, Joshua Michael Thomas Stewart and Felicia Lawson (Seth); father, Command Sergeant Major Robert J. Stewart (Patricia Leach Stewart); and grandson, Aaron Thomas Lawson.
Interment will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30pm on Wednesday, February 28th at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road.
