Joan Cooper

She was born on January4, 1967 in Augusta, GA, a daughter of George and Eddis Chambers Edwards.

Joan worked at Pactiv Corp and was loved by many. She did a lot of volunteer work for the community and was active at her home church, Lumpkin Road Baptist Church as well TrueNorth. She loved fishing, camping, geo-caching and spending time with family and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Edwards.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Chasity Payton (Jonathan); Son, CJ Payton (Jessica); step-children, Ashley Cooper Midler (Blake) and Kendall Cooper. Eight grandchildren: Seth, Wesley, Taylor, Logan, Bailey, Cooper, Maggie and Genevieve. As well as her sisters, Yvette Rewis (Bobby) and Diane Donoven (Nancy); several nieces and nephews.
