Glenn Shearer

Mr. Shearer was born to the late George and Viola Shearer in Harrisburg, PA. After graduating from Derry Township High School in 1947, he joined the US Army where he served in the Korean Conflict. After serving in the US Military, he worked at International Paper and retired after 54.5 years. He was passionate about farming and enjoyed spending time on his farm in Girard, GA.

Mr. Shearer is preceded in death by his daughter, Glenda Mahon. Survivors include his children, David Shearer (Patty Burns), Donna Miller (John) and Charles Shearer; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family will not be having any services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave.
