Donnie Lee Stone

Pastor Stone, a loving husband of 38 years, doting father of 4 children and proud papa of 4 beautiful grandchildren. He was a good and faithful servant of the Lord and was a full time minister for 35 years. He was the Associate Pastor of Lumpkin Road Baptist Church in Augusta, GA from 1997-2007 and has been the Senior Pastor since 2008.

Pastor Stone is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Stone; sister, Connie Jenkins; and two brothers-in-law, George Jenkins and Kelvin Dixon. Survivors include his loving wife, Katrina Stone; children, Aaron Stone (Brittney), Nathan Stone (April), Andrew Stone (Destin) and Vera Grace; father, John C. Stone; Siblings, Doyace (Mary) Stone, Debra Dixon, John Stone (Karon), Lesa (Steven); grandchildren, Olivia Stone, Isla Stone, Meadow Stone and Henry Stone who is on the way; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Lumpkin Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the Church. Interment will be held on Monday at 11am, at Hillcrest Abbey West, 1336 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, GA 31405.
