Receiving his angel wings on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Mr. Bobby Dickenson, 75, loving husband of 40 years to Sarah Dickenson.
Bobby was born 11/01/1947 in Knoxville TN to parents Sherrill and Dolly Dickenson, but lived in Hephzibah GA most of his life. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his return home he worked for Delta Air Lines as a customer service cargo representative. He was an avid fisherman and a member of The Hill Bass Club and Evans Bassmasters. He won many awards over the years including Mr. Clarks Hill in 1975. He was a proud committee member of the SEPVA Fishing Tournament. During football season he would always be cheering on his favorite team the Tennessee Volunteers.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Angie (Jimmy) Heath, David (Meredith) Dickenson and Richard (Kelly) Dickenson; brothers Mike (Betty Jo) Dickenson and Tony (Beverly) Dickenson; mother in law Loretta Feliciano; sister in laws Laurie (Warren) Umeda, Vanessa (Bobo) Alonzo and Melissa (Brandon) Oana; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; Auntie Maureen and his service dog Jazz.
He is preceded in death by his parents Sherrill and Dolly Dickenson and his father in law Frank Feliciano.
The family would like to thank his AU Care Team for all the compassion and care he received, especially Gabby, David and William.
Visitation will be Sunday 11/06/222 at Elliott's Funeral Home from 4-7. Graveside service will be Monday 11/07/22 at Bellevue Cemetery on Wrightsboro Rd starting at 11:00, with military honors.
