JOHNSON, Donald, age 73, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away on October 5, 2022 surrounded by the love of his friends and family. Don is preceded in death by his cherished wife Nancy Hillhouse and their beloved cat Lady. He leaves behind his younger brother Steven (Karen) Johnson and his nieces Beth (Paul Westefer) Pendleton and Jessica (Andy) Parks and a nephew Erik Hillhouse. He is also survived by three great-nieces and one great-nephew. He was born in Westerly, Rhode Island to John and Frances Johnson. Don was loyal and steady and had a mischievous streak that only his closest friends and loved ones knew well. He studied Engineering, a great passion of his, at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he made many life long friendships. Throughout his life he enjoyed tennis, ski touring, back packing, canoeing, sailing and reading. He was a great lover of music spanning from classical to rock and roll. He and Nancy enjoyed many music festivals with friends. When Nancy's health began to fail, they turned their pleasures more towards home and charity work. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace our Dear Brother, Uncle, Friend. Death may have taken you away from us, but you'll always remain alive in our hearts.
Don is together again with Nancy at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA.
