David was born to Peter and Shirley Ardwin, on September 26, 1947. David graduated from Dondero High School in 1965. Following high school, David was drafted to serve his country in the United States Army. After returning from the army, David worked as a warehouse manager, at his family’s company- Ardwin Hays Wholesale. In later years, David got into the flea market and antiquing industry, owning his own business.
David was an avid garage saler, and loved to buy and sell his treasures at flea markets in Michigan and Florida. He loved hunting for his next treasure and turning away difficult customers… just because. David would also spend his time at the local VFW, hunting, fishing, and riding his prized Harley motorcycle.
David is survived by his son Thor Ardwin, grandchildren; Maximus and Farrah Ardwin, and sister; Kathy Grech.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Shirley Ardwin.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday November 8th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Pixley Funeral Home- Desmond Chapel, located at 3530 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326.
