My dear Jackie, my sweet little sister and my best friend, I am so blessed to have had you in my life for the past 65 years.  Now you are in the arms of Dad and Michael and surrounded by all our loved ones that have passed.

My heartfelt condolences to the Chung  and Hayes Family,  

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jackie’s passing.  Jackie was a kindhearted, generous and fun person.  She was my best friend since 6th grade - into my mid 20’s.  Besides the countless hours walking to school together, hanging out after school we shared so many day trips (from San Francisco) to Marin County,  The American River,  Castroville (just to eat fried artichokes!) and a vacation to Oahu when we were 21 years old!  I will never forget our last visit together 37 years ago.  Jackie came to see my son when he was a few days old.  She gifted him a blanket Corrine crocheted.  I still have the blanket.  When she move to Cool, we wrote letters then sent Christmas cards for a few years.  Even though we have not seen each other for 37 years,  Jackie really touched my life.  She was there during the challenging and exciting adolescence and young adulthood years.   “It is not the destination but the journey”.  I am truly grateful Jackie and I crossed paths and shared parts of our lives together.   I will always cherish the memories.

May her family have comfort and strengthen during this time of loss.

My fondest memories with you was always joyful and fun. I know I was your pesky little cousin, but I was very grateful that you and family lived only a block away from us because we were able to hang out frequently when we were kids. You would always greet me with a smile and made me feel welcome. You would always have adventurous things planned for us to do. I missed that. You were a great part of my childhood. Thanks for the memories.

I was heartbroken when my best friend from third grade, Corinne, told me that her dear sister, Jackie had passed away. 

Jackie and Corinne were always very close and they were always there for each other and supported one another. Jackie had such a beautiful smile and sense of humor. Even though her long battle with this disease, she seemed to have such a positive attitude. I always admired her strength when she would text me. I know her entire family is saddened by her passing, but I pray that they  will find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain, and she is now in heaven with her grandparents, her father and her dear sweet nephew, Mickey and our dear lord. She isn’t really gone. She will live on in our hearts forever.  My deepest condolences to Corinne and her entire family.

Jackie loved life,  always happy, upbeat, and was so care free.  She loved her home in Cool and always commented how beautiful the canyon was between Cool and Auburn, and sometimes just sat there in her car relaxing.  She loved being a mom to her son, Shane and watching him grow up to be a good man, whom she was so proud of.  
I worked with Jackie at the Post Office for many years.  We had so many good memories and laughs there.  She had this clipboard that she would keep at her counter.  Who knows what she was keeping track of, or maybe just her "to do" list.  The bosses liked her cause she was always in motion.  A few months ago I asked her what her favorite job was that she had over her working years, and it was the Post Office. 
 We shared a little saying when we wanted to ease any tension, and sing "La De Dah".    Then we both would laugh with a deep voice.  It sure helped.
I will miss our lunches in town.  We both agreed that Thai was our favorite.
I am honored and blessed to have had Jackie as my friend who felt more like my sister.   Rest my sweet Jackie.  No more pain but eternal life.   You are always in my thoughts and prayers, till we meet again.  Love You!!

When I heard the news, it was met with a sense of disbelief. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Nellie Chung, Mr. Charles Hayes, Corinne, Daniel and their families for your lost of such an amazing person.

My fondest memories go back to the mid '70s when I first met Jacqueline. Your first impressions are of her stunning beauty but soon realize she also had intelligence and a spunky wit to back it up. Add that to her love for music from Earth,Wind and Fire paired with some of the most amazing dance moves I've ever seen, it was no wonder she lit up the room wherever she went.

Thank you "Jacky" for the awesome childhood memories on Union Street , you will be missed by many who had the honor to call you a friend, sister, daughter, and life partner.

We are sadden to hear the heartbreaking news that Jackie has passed.  Jackie had such a big heart and we admire her strength and endurance.  We know how close she was to everyone around her and the loss hurts to the core.

While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, we’re never really prepared to say goodbye.  It is most certainly the hardest when they are taken too soon.  

The family has a very special bond that is beautiful, treasure the memories of the many wonderful years.

 Its difficult  to imagine life without my sweet friend ,Jackie . I have known Jackie since I was 12 years old.  I have many stories and memories that include Jackie .  One in particular that comes to mind is when I gave Jackie a book about what kids think of Heaven  (I can't recall the title), and Jackie enjoyed the book so much that she read it over and over and over again. Only God knows when it's time to come home. Jackie entered the Pearly Gates and the palace is golden. She was greeted by her grandparents,  her dad, nephew little Mikey,  and my beloved Rock , surrounded by angels.
Oh what a celebration . Jackie is now forever pain free.  Her memory lives on in the hearts of all of us who love her.. RIP

My fond memories of  you date back to our childhood. I remember and cherish every Sunday, when we would attend church, followed by play at Portsmith Square and grandfather’s store. We spent the rest of the day playing at your home, followed by Sunday dinner at our grandparents’ home. 

You have always been as beautiful inside, as you are outside. I will miss your kind spirit, beautiful smile,  infectious laughter and the cousins’s weekly texts.

My Dearest Girlie,  I am So sorry that You left us so soon  and we couldn't  have our little rendezvous together just one more time.   Mexican food  and Laughter will never be the same anymore as I always looked forward to seeing your Smiling face & listening to you laughing at my stories  (mostly gossip)   I'm heartbroken that I'll never  get to hang out with You  see You  or give You a hug anymore but I am glad that You aren't in pain as You had been for so long.
