Nancy V. Stevenson

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 6 to 8 P.M.

Funeral services to honor her life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday August 11, 2018 at 11 A.M. Rev. Eddie Stevenson and Rev. Jeff Stevenson will officiate. Graveside service and interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.

Mrs. Stevenson was a longtime and faithful member of Damascus Baptist Church . She also worked in the sewing and restaurant industries for many years and was a talented seamstress as well as cook. Nancy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and mawmaw. Those preceding her in death include her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Stevenson; parents, John and Neva McCrickard; sister, Mildred Hopkins; brothers, John McCrickard and Ansel McCrickard; and daughter-in-law, Stacy Stevenson.

She leaves behind;

Daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Lawder of Attalla,

Ginger (Michael ) Stevens of Steele,

And Elizabeth (Jamie) Quinn of Attalla.

Sons, Eddie Stevenson of Attalla and Jeff (Krissy) Stevenson of Northport.

Along with fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Mrs. Stevenson’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice, and also to Dr. Castillo and staff.
