Greg was lifelong resident of Altoona. He loved to watch Auburn football, drive his Ford vehicles, and spend time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Odell and Edith Holland McCray; and sisters, Edwina Yancy, and Cindy Murdock.
Greg is survived by his son, 'Jesse' James A. McCray; daughter, Armendi J. Cowan; grandsons, Jordan Cowan, and Dusty Aikin; brothers, Lewis McCray and Randall McCray; and sisters, Francis Fowler, and Phyllis McCray.
Funeral services will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 28, 2025. The family will receive visitors in Parlor C from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Blount Memory Gardens in Oneonta at 2:00 PM. Bro. John Copeland to officiate.
Pallbearers will be family.
Flowers will be accepted at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, AL.
