Deborah Powers, age 70, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at her home. Deborah was born in Cullman, AL. She was a nurse for over 30 years. She was a sweet, loving, Godly, precious, and caring mother. She always put her children first and loved for them to be happy, enjoying life. She was the most selfless woman to walk the earth. We will miss her forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond G. Chesser and Bernice Childers Chesser; brother, Raymond K. Chesser; sister, Donna Kay Moody; son in law, H. Buster Willoughby Jr.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 52 and a half years; Edward Powers; four children, Chris and Wendy Powers, Amy Willoughby and Jeremy Walker, Laura and Kerry Towner, Josh and Brittany Powers; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
The family requests no flowers, instead memorial donations may be made to service costs or a charity of your choice in Mrs. Powers’s memory.
