William Charles Caras

William (Billy) Charles Caras of Atlanta died Tuesday October 29, 2024. He was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Billy was always the life of the party and brought joy to everyone around him. His greatest passion was spending time with his family, especially his four grandsons and great grandson.

Billy was a lifelong member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Atlanta, Ga. He took great pride in his Greek heritage and loved to cook and dance with his wife of 61 years Boula.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents James & Lucia Caras, his sister & brother in law Andrew & Eula Carlos, his brother Pete Caras, brother & sister in law George & Martha Ann Caras and brother in law Johnny Soublis. He leaves behind his loving wife Boula Caras, son Jimmy W. Caras (Georgia), daughter Cathy C. Radivoj (Dorel), son Pete W. Caras (Susan). His loving grandsons Jonathan G. Radivoj (Mary Kathryn), William J. Caras (Alexa), Nicholas W. Radivoj, John J. Caras (Eleni) and great grandson James W. Caras. Billy also leaves behind his sister in law and brother in law Art & Tassie Lamas, sister in law Joanne Soublis and cousins gambling/dining companions Angelo & Betty Patellis as well as many nieces, nephews and God children who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Atlanta.
