Steve L. Jenkins, 52, passed away on August 4, 2014 after a sudden accident. He died doing what he loved best serving the Lord at his church that he attended regularly. He was a member at Gwinnett Baptist Tabernacle. Steve served as a Custodian at Cross Keys High School for 33 years and loved his job and the people he worked with. He is survived by his father; Earnest L Garner ; two sisters Vicki Van Winkle and Sandra Cook; 4 nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his mother Rebecca Garner in 2006 and his brother Charles Allen Jenkins in 1984. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6-9 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel . Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11:00 AM at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. He will be laid to rest at North Atlanta Memorial Park – 5188 Winters Chapel Rd, Doraville, GA.
