Bob "Red" was a great classmate.  He was actually a quiet one yet seemed to be with those who chose not to be!  I remember one trip to the Schafer Farm to bail all of the guys out....they had gotten into some homemade Schafer wine....awesome but lethal!! Of course, the girls were not privy to it...only called into the rescue.  We are a very close class as there were less than 40 of us in it.  Love and blessings to all the family and friends.  We will miss him and always remember the kind person he was.

I am deeply sadden by this news.  My condolences to the family.  Bob will be missed dearly.  He was a great man who was always smiling when I stop by to see Dwayne while growing up in the neighborhood.

work with Bob in the 60's at the Jay C Store in Madison, IN.  I thought
a lot of Bob, he was a very nice boy.  I haven't seen Bob since the
60's but I remember him well.

My heart broke when I received this sad news earlier today from another Shawe High School class of '64 classmate. "Red" was an old dear friend. I have wonderful memories of our high school days and working together at the Jay C grocery store. Even though in recent years, I only saw him at class reunions, I just want to sit here and cry.

"Bobby" and Donna, my sister and I grew up together on Main Street in Madison.  We all played and laughed together.  It doesn't get any better than that.  
I saw Bob a few years ago at his classes reunion.  He was still laughing and happy.  He said "My family is just the best!"

I remember Bob well from our high school years together at Shawe Memorial in Madison, Indiana. Bob was a year ahead of me in school. I succeeded him as student manager of the basketball team. My condolences to Bob's family.
