James Robert Czyzewski

James Czyzewski, 74, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on October 31, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, James was a lifelong lover of music whose passion for the arts deeply influenced those around him, especially his daughter.

James was known for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering support of his now deceased brother Donald. He shared a special bond with his daughter, Laura, and her fiancé, Jeremy Gray, instilling in Laura a deep love for music that would last throughout her lifetime. He is also survived by his beloved brother, Theodore Czyzewski and his cousin Catherine “Taffy” Zaremski, whose presence was a great comfort to him in his later years.

James spent the majority of his life in the Philadelphia area where he retired from a career as a Chemical Lab Technician. He eventually made his home in Atlanta, where he continued to enjoy life, music, and the company of his daughter. His legacy will be remembered through the music he cherished, the memories he created, and the many lives he touched with his warmth and generosity.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Philadelphia area. Details will be shared in the coming weeks.

James will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but his spirit will live on in the music and love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
