Ernest V. Cole of Doraville died Friday afternoon in his home surrounded by his family. Ernest was preceded in death by his wife Joyce D. Cole and son Steven M. Cole. His is survived by sons; Robert D. Cole (Neila) and James E. Cole (Susan) and grandchildren; Alicia C. Cole, Ashley M. Cole, James E. Cole, Jr. and Steven M. Cole and sister-in-law, Betty Dailey. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at H.M. Patterson and Son Oglethorpe Hill in Brookhaven. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will take place at North Atlanta Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
