Mrs. Dorothy P Bridges

Dorothy Parks Bridges, age 79 of Panama City Beach, FL, formerly of Atlanta, GA, died Monday, January 7, 2013. She was a church secretary for over thirty years, and very active in church activities including volunteering in many different capacities. She enjoyed playing tennis, running, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Bridges is preceded in death by her husband, John O. Bridges. She is survived by two daughters, Cindy & Greg Hall of Decatur, GA, and Teresa & Jeff Lucas of Panama City Beach, FL, four grandchildren, Jonathan Hall, Daniel Hall, Tiffany Lucas, and Preston Lucas, three brothers, Johnnie Parks, Donald Parks, and Kenneth Parks, and one sister, Gloria Smith. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 at One O’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of H. M. Patterson & Son – Spring Hill, 1020 Spring St., NW, Atlanta, GA 30309. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Southwest Christian Care Hospice, 7225 Lester Rd., Union City, GA 30291, or Christian City Assisted Living, 7300 Lester Rd., Union City, GA 30291.
