Deborah was born in Atlanta, GA to Robert Ernest McAloon and Betty Jo McAloon on February 4th 1949. Debby worked in the administrative field for most of her career. But her true passion was her work within her church where she was a longtime member, First Presbyterian Church of Downtown Atlanta. She served as a Stephen Minister and was a loyal part of the communications department. She also found a passion for helping children through Children's Cross Connection. Debby lived her life quietly giving her time and heart. She will be remembered as a loving Friend, Daughter, Sister, Mother and most of all Gram. She made her mark on this world with her kindness, selflessness, and loyalty that she gave to all who met her.
Deborah was preceded in death by her Father - Robert McAloon, Mother-Betty Jo McAloon. Brother- Greg McAloon.
Deborah is survived by Daughters, Kimberly Buckley and Stacy Brown (Barry Brown). Sisters Barbara McAloon, Bambi Newton(David Newton), and Rodger McAloon(Doreen McAloon). Grandchildren - Alex Finkle, Richie Buckley, Jonathon Buckley, Alyssa Buckley, Jasmine Brown, Justice Brown and Bari Brown. Great Grandchildren- Kennedy, Kaydee Mae, Carter, Ellie, and Unborn Baby Girl.
Visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Downtown Atlanta on August 22nd at 10:30am with service following at 11am. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. Arrangements are by HM Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.
In Lieu of flowers Deborah would have wanted donations to be made to the Broadcasting Department of First Presbyterian Church of Downtown Atlanta and to the American Liver Foundation- Primary Biliary Cholangitis.
