Danny Mac Morgan

Danny Mac Morgan of Monroeville, Alabama died Monday, May 19th, 2014. He was born August 11th, 1938 in Georgiana, Alabama. He was preceded by his parents Millard and Lahleen Morgan. He is survived by his sisters Annette Browning of Montgomery, Alabama and Juanita Davis of Grove Hill, Alabama. He is survived by his children Cynthia Self, Eric Morgan, Kelly Myers and Sam Morgan. He is also survived by nieces, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Danny worked as a farmer with his father in the Monroeville area for a number of years before working for more than 20 years and retiring as a civil engineer at Gate Precast in Monroeville, Alabama.

After retiring, Danny dedicated his time expanding his garden and sharing his flowers and gardening skills with friends and neighbors.

The family would like to thank The Fountainview Center for Alzheimer’s in Atlanta, Georgia for their tender loving care and dignity given to Danny in his final days and hours. Danny will be making his final return home Saturday, May 24th, 2014 with a funeral scheduled at 11 o’clock at Asbury United Methodist Church, near Pine Apple, Conecuh County, Alabama. Interment will follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior at the church.
