Carlton Davis (commonly called Pumpy and Lammy) was born on 3 November 1963, to the late Ivan Davis and Lucille Hall (Parke). He attended Alva primary school and migrated to the United States at the age of 14. He attended Samuel J. Tilden High School in Brooklyn, New York and New York City College of Technology, where he majored in Computer Engineering. Carlton was actually an entrepreneur in his own way. We can remember him building his first transistor radio from scratch while in high school. His latest obsession as an adult was crypto currency. Anyone who would listen, he’d try to school them and impart his wisdom. Carlton was a loner at times, but he was never lonely. He was a gentle soul that helped everyone he came in contact with. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for his children, family or even a stranger. He will be missed dearly and surely never forgotten.
Carlton is survived by his wife-China Sang Davis of Nicaragua, his son - Omari Davis of Brooklyn NY, His daughter - Porsche Davis- Brooklyn Ny, granddaughter Taylor Davis, Mother Lucille Hall (Derrick), sisters: Monica Brown (Samuel), Euvalyn Christie (Conrad) and Dawn Streetman. As well as a large number of uncles/aunts, nieces/nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother Dwight Davis and father Ivan Davis.
