Ms. Beatrice Pauline Pullen, of Atlanta, died December 22, 2014. Ms. Pullen was preceded in death by parents, Robert Barwick Pullen and Beatrice Swindler Pullen, brother, Robert Lee Pullen, Sr. and sister- in-law, Evelyn Jones Pullen. Survivors include her niece, Gayle Evelyn Pullen and nephew, Robert Lee Pullen Jr. Ms. Pullen had a long career at General Motors Company at the Lakewood Assembly Plant, and with General Motors Service Parts Operations at the Doraville Assembly Plant. Ms. Pullen was a long time member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Grace and Decatur chapters. She twice served as Worthy Matron for the Decatur chapter. Upon retiring from General Motors, Ms. Pullen served as a volunteer Hostess at the Georgia Governor's Mansion. Ms. Pullen was very proud of her service to the State, and enjoyed meeting people from around the world. She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church in Decatur. Above all, Ms. Pullen enjoyed family and loved to travel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1pm at Oglethorpe Hill. Interment Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 3 from 11:30am to 1:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE Brookhaven, Georgia, 30319.
