Mr. Alan Cannon

Born January 11, 1950, Alan was a native of East Atlanta, the son of Ralph H. Cannon, Jr. and Jeanette E. Lackey. He graduated from Walker High School in 1968 and then served in the military police in the U.S. Army where he toured in Korea during the Vietnam conflict. He later attended and graduated from West Georgia College. Alan was an owner and partner of RAC Logistics, a member of Peachtree Christian Church and a dual member of Fulton Masonic Lodge #216 and the Snellville Masonic Lodge #99. He was a Senior Deacon at Fulton and active fundraiser for Masonic and Scottish Rite Children's Charities.

He is survived by his wife Penelope Cheroff Cannon, daughter Laurie Cannon, brothers, Glen, Rick and Jerry Cannon, step-children, Zachary and Nicole Cheroff, and granddaughter, Isabelle Cheroff.

Funeral services for Alan will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Peachtree Christian Church.
