Loyd Allen Nash

A native of Clarke County, Mr. Nash was a son of the late Harvey and Nellie Mae Taylor Nash. He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam and was a retired sergeant with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Walter Nash and sister, Alice Edwards.

Survivors include wife, Betty Sue Pace Nash of Danielsville; son, Allen Nash of Jackson County; daughter, Melissa Nash Kinley (Silas) of Madison County; brother, Freddie Nash (Cheryl) of Oglethorpe County; sister, Minnie Rose Fernandez of Richmond, MO; grandchildren, Brantley Parker, Cole Nash, Will Nash and Bryson Nash; step-grandchildren, Selice Kinley and Marlee Kinley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 5 from 5-8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 6 at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
