Linda Ann Thomas

Linda was born in Athens and was raised in Oconee County, where she attended local schools. She was homemaker, but also worked with her husband in several businesses that they owned during their life together. She was a member of New Life Worship Center in Statham.

Linda was preceded in death by parents, Dupree and Claudine Smith Powell; husband, Jimmie Thomas; daughter, Melinda Thomas; and brother, William Powell.

Linda is survived by her son, Shane Thomas of Nashville, TN; daughter, Angie Baker and her husband, Mitch of Bogart; sister, Brenda Cape of Hull; five grandchildren, Josh Thomas, Brandon Baker, Hannah Baker and Haleigh Baker and Justin Wilson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 12:30 to 1:30 PM Monday, December 19, 2022 in Bernstein Funeral Home, followed by a graveside funeral service at 2:00 PM in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
