She was an Athens native and preceded in death by her parents, Dewy and Rosa Mae Williamson; husband, Glenn Freeman; two sons, Doug and Charles Freeman; grandson, Charles Freeman Jr.; granddaughter, Cheryl Freeman and brothers and sisters.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sherry Freeman of Athens; grandson, Eddie Freeman and Donna Baker of Colbert; grandson, Christopher Freeman of Athens; granddaughters, Ashley and Kimberly Freeman of Jefferson, great-granddaughters, Roxanne Turner and Rachael Gunn; great-grandsons, Jacob, Brewer and Carson Freeman; great-great grandson, Mason Turner and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Freeman was a member of West End Baptist Church for 67 years.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home with Revs. Lee Hunter and Ray Finger officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
