David was born in Winder, lived most of his life in Athens, and graduated from Clarke Central High School. He was a welder and had worked with Mize Fabrication, for many years and worked with his brother at Page and Sons, LLC, where he helped set-up mobile homes. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Auburn and was an avid NASCAR and UGA Football fan.
His father, Leroy Page, preceded him in death.
David is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jennie Page of Athens; mother, Ruby Faye Jones of Athens; children, Jerry Mittelsted and his wife, Pamela of Maysville; Jamey Peterson of Lexington; and Mystical Peterson of Athens; brothers, Charles Page of Bogart; Dwight Page and his wife, Janie of Hull; and Randy Page and his wife, Dara of Winder; grandchildren, Alexis Peterson, Trey Mittelsted, William Peterson, Makayla Tanner and Tyrese Tanner; great-grandchildren, A-Lea Davenport, Junior Brown and Lily Rose Davenport; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:30 to 6:00 pm Thursday, September 22, 2022 in Bernstein Funeral Home, immediately followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Stringham officiating.
Burial will be held privately.
