Bill was the ultimate family man and neighbor, dedicating his time and energy to his wife, children and those around him. His was a most generous soul, fully committed to family and others in need; often kind to total strangers he happened to meet along the way.
His generous spirit and warm smile affected all those around him and will be dearly missed. Bill retired from Athens Regional Medical Center where he was Director of Pharmacy Services for 35 years. He was the consummate professional and a leader in his field, recognized often by state pharmaceutical associations.
After retirement, Bill continued to practice pharmacy part time. Bill is survived by his wife, Bobbie; daughter, Jennifer; sons, Michael and Mark; grandchildren, Macy and Evan; a brother, Larry; and a sister, Dorothy Ard.
