Lillian Rogers Loggins, 94, of Athens, died February 2, 2017. Visitation will be at McConnell Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4th from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1p.m. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Robert Fudge and Dr. Carl Witty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Loggins; grandson, Justin Loggins; son-in-law, Perry Noojin.
She was a lifelong resident of Limestone County, homemaker and member of Ephesus Church of Christ.
She is survived by daughters, Annabelle (Percy) Posey, Allison (Corky) Jones, Dr. Rene’ Noojin; son, Alan (Vicky) Loggins; sister, Polly McBay; grandchildren, Ashley (Trey) Lawrence, Mike (Chanda) Posey, Blair Loggins, Leslie (Adam) Pitts, and Elizabeth Loggins; step-grandchildren, Christy Jackson, Casey Jones, Shelly Moore, Ashlee Ehman, Chelsea Pettitt; six great-grandchildren, eleven step-great grandchildren, three step-great-great grandchildren; special caregiver, Carol Hendrix.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Green, Lavon McBay, Mike Posey, Trey Lawrence, Adam Pitts, and Casey Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Griffin, Wade Loggins, Melvin Loggins, and Jack Lawrence.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude, Memphis, or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Birmingham.
