Graveside Service will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 2 P.M. at Roselawn Cemetery with Lawson Carter officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Mr. Holman was born February 21, 1949 in Limestone County to Joe Holman, JR., and Bessie Barnett Holman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Betty Carolyn McClendon; one brother David Joseph Holman.
Mr. Holman served two years in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed mechanic. Mr. Holman also worked and retired from the City of Athens as a mechanic. He was a member of O’Neal Church of Christ.
Survivors include two nieces Kim Carter (Brad) and Cindy Wise both of Athens, six great nieces and nephews include Lawson Carter (Ashley), Hayden Carter, Luke Wise , Harlie Marsh (Jimmy) all of Athens, Olivia Hall (Will) of Birmingham, Miah Wise of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Lawson Carter, Hayden Carter, Luke Wise, Will Hall, Jimmy Marsh, and Brad Carter.
