She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, her eldest daughter and eldest son. She was a firecracker in life, always on the move, and always quick with a retort. She loved to garden, try new foods, and care for her family. She is survived by her younger son and six doting daughters, 21 beautiful grandchildren, and 14 wonderful great grandchildren. She is loved and will be sorely missed.
A funeral service for Ying will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home, 3450 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Atascadero - Pine Mountain Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Atascadero, CA 93422. A reception will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dragon Palace King Buffett, 825 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
Serving as pallbearers are Si Lau, Phillip Chu, Steve Monge, Calvin Chan, Jeff Simmons and Matthew Simmons.
