Marvin Leroy Moore, age 80, of King William, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling Alfred Moore and Lora Barlow Moore; and his brother, David Wayne Moore.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Patricia Russell Moore; daughters, Laurie Ann Kern (Warrick) and Faye Elizabeth Encke (Chad); brothers, William "Billy" Moore (Jane) and Jimmy Moore (Susan); and several loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Marvin will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, 11310 Hanover Ave, Ashland, VA 23005.
