Carol M. DeVan, 91, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Altercare Majora Lane. She was born in Ashland on December 25, 1932, to the late Carlyle R. and Beulah (Wonsettler) Phillips. Carol and her late husband, Jack A. DeVan, married October 22, 1950. During her career she worked at Abbott Laboratories and Mohican Hills Golf Course.
Carol is survived by her children, William (Terry) DeVan of Perrysville and Karen (John) Salyer of Glenmont; four granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. DeVan; her children, Mark Devan, and Kim Devan; her mother, Beulah Phillips; and her father, Carlyle R. Phillips.
In honor of Carol’s wishes there will be no services. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ashland is honored to serve the DeVan family.
