Melvin Bruce Bruning

Melvin was born on November 27, 1956 to the late Harvey and Virginia (nee Fenton) Bruning; Beloved husband of Concetta (nee Ruma) Bruning; Loving step-father of Nicholas (Jen) Koudys and loving father of Amy (Mike) Kraft; Dear grandfather of Leonardo Koudys, Madalyn Kraft, and Taylor Kraft; Loving godfather to Angie (Christopher) Grewe; Dear brother of the late Beverly (Eugene) Szolga, the late Jerry Bruning, Gary (Diane) Bruning, the late Joyce (Thomas) Moody, and Glen (Sally) Bruning; Loving uncle of Keith Szolga, Kevin Szolga, Jerry Bruning, Alan Bruning, Gregory Bruning, the late Christopher Moody, and Angie Grewe.

Mel was also a dear friend to many, avid sports fan, camping aficionado, and he enjoyed his retirement to the fullest.

A visitation for Melvin will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010.
