James L. Brooks

James Lloyd Brooks, age 89, of Niceville, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Sunset Hills, Missouri. James was born February 16, 1932 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Maude Brooks and the late Marvin Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his sister Marilyn Isringhaus, his sister Ann Johnson, and his sister Janet Hartbeck.

James was the loving husband of Sue E. Brooks who preceded him in death.

He was the beloved stepfather of Matthew J. Manzelli and Michael A. Manzelli. He was the dear father-in-law of Theresa Manzelli and Karen Manzelli.

James was the beloved grandfather of Jenna Manzelli, Anna Manzelli, Kaitlyn Manzelli, Ethan Manzelli, Nicole (Aaron) Toben and great grandfather of Alivia Toben, Taetem Toben, and Emmy Toben.

SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm Thursday, December 30, 2021, Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. A Memorial Service is currently scheduled for 10am Monday, January 3, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
