Kathleen Ann Minasian

Kathleen Ann Minasian, 93, of Arlington, VA, passed peacefully on December 16, 2022, in the devoted care of her loving daughter, Susan Grais and son-in-law, Gamil Grais. Susan and Gamil have peace that Kathleen is now with our Lord in heaven. Kathleen was born in Vermont and lived in Lawrence, Massachusetts in her earlier years, where she married her devoted husband, Leo Louis Minasian (who predeceased her in 2012) and raised her family of three children, including her beloved son, Brian Leo Minasian (who predeceased her in 2005), and Leo Louis Minasian, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL. Kathleen is also survived by her devoted daughter-in-law, Martha Minasian, with whom she joyfully corresponded all her life; grandsons, Daniel Minasian and Jacob Minasian; granddaughter, Sarah Minasian; as well as several great-grandchildren. Kathleen always was a caring Mother for her children and supported their earliest dreams into adulthood. She had excellent language skills and was fluent in English and French. She also had amazing talent in designing and sewing beautiful clothing for family and friends, as well as in crafts such as needlepoint and oil painting. Kathleen dedicated her young adult life to raising her children, and Susan recalls her Mother helping her with French and English classes throughout high school. In final years up to the week of her passing, Kathleen enjoyed an active lifestyle in the companionship of her daughter and son-in-law.
