John H. Logtens, 71, a life long resident of Arlington, VA passed away on February 25th. He was the son of the late Peter and Esther Logtens and brother of the late Christian Logtens and Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Logtens. John spent his career in real estate and was the owner of Property Specialists, Inc. for over 18 years until his retirement in 2018. In addition to his wife Jeanne Saidnawey Logtens, John is survived by his eldest son Thomas Logtens of Falls Church, and grandchildren, Max and Mallory Logtens. John was predeceased by his loving son Michael Logtens. John was the “favorite” brother-in-law to Tom and Denna Saidnawey (Lincoln, MA), Leo and Christine Saidnawey (Harrison, ME) John and Pam Saidnawey (Belmont, MA) and Mark and Karla Saidnawey (Belmont, MA) and a much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Since Cape Cod was the site of many wonderful family memories, a celebration of John’s life will be held there this summer.
