Terry Lee Johnson

Terry Lee Johnson, 67, of Denton, Texas passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 in Denton. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 15 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jeff Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to join the family for refreshments following the committal service in Moore Central Reception Hall. Visitation will be Friday, August 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Terry was born November 25, 1947 in Hastings, Nebraska to Palmer David Johnson and Fern Violet Lilja Johnson. He grew up in Nebraska where he graduated from Grand Island High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He received Technical Training at Hastings Community College.

Terry married Evelyn R Johnson on May 4, 1968. He spent the majority of his working years as a Sales Manager in Construction Software Equipment for Clary Company, Alpine Engineering and Mitek Industries. He enjoyed golfing, Nebraska football, and more than anything, Dallas Cowboys football.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 47 years, Evelyn Johnson, one son Scott Johnson and his wife Traci, one daughter, Kristi Ohlenbusch and her husband Kurt, three grandchildren, Campbell and Connor Johnson and Madison Ohlenbusch, also by two sisters, ViAnna Rice and Michelle Schmoker.
