Susan “Sue” Carol Lacy, age 74 of Rockwall, passed away on December 8, 2020. She was born on March 14, 1946 in Hobbs, New Mexico, the daughter of William Delbert Holm and Marjorie Winifred Coleman Holm. Sue was a proud Realtor and loved helping families find a new place to call home. She worked in real estate in Texas since 1993, most recently working for Jeanie Martin Real Estate. Sure never met a stranger and loved the time she spent with her family and friends through various social events within the community.
Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory: her daughter Keri Lacy Zuckerbrow and husband Justin; step-daughters Laura Weaver, Donna Jones, and Jennifer Lacy and grandchildren Jordan Mack, Corbin Zuckerbrow, and Cadence Zuckerbrow. Sue was preceded in death by her parents Del and Marge Holm.
A celebration of Sue and her mother Marge’s lives will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, January 9, 2021, with Pastor Randy Dickens officiating. The family will receive friends from 9am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue group of the donor’s choice.
