He was born in Hammond, Indiana on February 29, 1924. Bob graduated from Southwest Texas State University and received a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Arts. He married Pear Inglet on November 17, 1945. Bob served in the Untied States Army Air Corps from 1942-1945, serving as 1st LT., Pilot. He worked for Vought Aeronautics for 35 years. Bob enjoyed dancing and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Pearl Morris; children, Cheri Ashby and husband Cardell, Ronnie Morris and Jackie Ready; grandchildren, Jamie Ashby, Kerri Anderson and husband Brian, Tracy Morris, Ronnie Lee Morris and wife Elizabeth, Marrilynn Ready; two great-granddaughters, Mary Claire and Lydia Rose Morris. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Amedeo and Rebecca Ballentine.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 12:30 pm, September 21, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home with an interment to follow at Parkdale Cemetery.
