Robert Wood Blum was born in Buffalo, NY, on February 10, 1945. He graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He later finished his Master's in Hospital Administration at the University of Toronto and his Master's in Business Administration at William Carey College. He nobly joined the Army to serve his country in Vietnam and later retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service to his country.
He loved kayaking, canoeing, biking, gardening, and being outdoors. He also enjoyed traveling the world with his family during his time in the service.
Robert was a loving husband, father, and mentor to many, and his sense of humor always brought smiles and laughs to those around him. His strong will, discipline, and determination constantly inspired us all.
Robert is survived by his wife, Lou Blum, daughter Valerie Blum North, her husband, Brad North, and his grandson Liam Robert North, and by his brother, John Blum and his wife Shawn, and their daughters Julia and Regina Blum.
