Nancy was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 3, 1946 to J.T. and Mary Minyard. She graduated from Arlington High School and later received her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from California State University Fullerton.
Nancy had many colorful careers including being a flight attendant for American Airlines, a private pilot, a probation officer, a warden, an artist and a published poet. In her spare time, she loved to do interior design, antiquing, and painting.
Her adventurous spirit and witty sense of humor are going to be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Mary Minyard.
Survivors: daughter, Susan Austin Martin; grandson, Merlin Kance Munson; siblings, Larry Minyard, Jane Menger, and Joan Minyard; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
