Mildred Ford Kimery

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Friday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington.

Pallbearers: Bryan Kimery, Hank Kimery, Andrew Kimery, Chris Kimery, Kyle Kimery (honorary), Bruce Kimery Jr. and Craig Ford.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mission Arlington, 210 W. South St., Arlington, Texas 76010, or a charity of choice.

She was born May 2, 1913, in Fairy to Ollie Josiah and Mattie Eliza Ford. Mildred was married to Henry DeForrest Kimery Sr. 43 years prior to his death in 1977. Mildred was a resident of Dallas for 57 years. Gardening was her passion and plants always flourished under her care. She was an accomplished pianist, sharing her talent with family and church friends. She was an active member of senior adult choirs at Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Dallas and later at First Baptist Church in Arlington.

Survivors: Brother, Rodrick Ford and wife, Judy, of Arlington; daughter, Teresa Kimery Scarmardo of Arlington; sons, Henry DeForrest Kimery Jr. and wife, Linda, of Arlington and Bruce Ford Kimery and wife, Jo Carol, of Indianapolis, Ind; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
