Mary Irene Williams

Mary Irene Williams was born in Brownwood, Texas on August 27, 1926. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Euless for 50 years. Irene was a devoted and faithful servant of the Lord for all of the days of her life. She especially loved children and served much time in her early years teaching children in Sunday school. Irene was blessed with a large and loving family and married the love of her life, Ed Williams with whom she had 3 children and shared 60 great years. When grandchildren came along, Irene would then be called Nana for the rest of her days. Nana lived each and every day with the sole purpose of caring for her loved ones. Nana tirelessly devoted herself to making sure that each and every one of us was warm, fed, and loved. Nana made each of us feel as though we were the most special person on the planet. She was never too busy or too tired to make sure that all of our needs were met, selflessly and tirelessly putting herself last each and every time.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband Ed H Williams, her son James H Williams, parents M.F. and Annie Shaw, sisters Bertha Reed and Dorothy Thompson, and brothers Dr. Ben Lee Shaw and Otis Forest Shaw.

Irene is survived by daughters Kathy Higgins and Janie Levinski, Daughter-in-law Gail Williams, six grandchildren Michael Williams and wife Samantha, Artie Williams and wife Janice, Matt Higgins, Angie Rivera and husband Juan Carlos Rivera, Stephanie Levinski Smith and husband Sandy Smith, Eric Levinski, Brandon and Kristi Smith; Great grandchildren Jeffrey, Nathan, Kristopher, Diego, Elli, Bailey, Sarah, Anthony, John, and Ethan; and great-great grandchildren Keegan, Ethan S., Ella, and Messalina.

Visitation for Irene will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A committal service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
