Peg was born January 11, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA, to parents, Bill & Bette Kelly. She grew up in Pittsburgh with her siblings, and enjoyed all four seasons before coming to Texas, where in her words, “It’s just too hot here."
Peg had a strong work ethic with a career in restaurant management including long tenures at Taco Bell and Mrs. Fields Cookies. Her hobby was ancestry/genealogy. Her interests included decorating for the different times of year and holidays, with Christmas being her most beloved. She enjoyed cooking for family get-togethers and had a great talent for doing so. She took great joy in making pumpkin pancakes, baking cookies and playing games with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping at QVC online (probably a little too much).
She was a believer in Jesus Christ and in the promise of eternal life.
Peg was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth T. Kelly; brother, Daniel M. Kelly; and grandmother, Ruth Tomlinson (Nanny).
She is survived by her children, Joseph Theobald, Jr., Thomas Theobald, Michele Elwell and husband Lucas, Heather Shook and husband Terry; grandchildren, Katelynn Theobald, Haley Shook, Hannah Shook, Madelyn Shook and Matthew Shook; grand cats, Baby Doll and Bella; father, William J.
