Our beloved mother, sister, and dear friend left this earth to live with Jesus in eternal life. Linda was a member of the Grapevine Church of Christ. She will be truly missed but lives in our hearts forever. She was a most devoted wife, mother, sister, and loyal friend.
She was born in Texarkana, TX to Ralph and Lucille Dean. She was third in line with her three brothers. After graduation and several jobs, she married the love of her life, Darrell Douglas Jackson. In this union produced a son, Bryan, and daughter, Staci, whom she dearly loved.
She was a loyal American Airlines employee for 36 years.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lucille Dean, and her beloved best friend and husband, Darrell Douglas Jackson in 2003. She missed Darrell so much.
Everyone who met Linda fell in love with her- her personality and humor kept everyone laughing. She gave the gift of friendship to all.
Survivors include son, Bryan, and daughter Staci. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters in love, Roger and Camille Dean, Norman and Nan Dean, and Ken and Ann Dean. She leaves Darrell's sister, Judy Sellers who she considered her sister. Linda is also survived by her dear friend Nancy Wedt of Euless, TX. She leaves a host of nieces and nephews too. She considered her close friends, family too, Clay Hendrix, Dave and Terri Klapproth, Linda Devine and JoAnn King, who dubbed themselves, the Jackson 5.
We want to thank Jamie Kungo for her excellent care of Linda and Staci during Linda's final months.
