Juanita Jewel Murray

Juanita Jewel Adkisson was born June 11, 1924 in Brownwood, Texas to Louis J. Adkisson and Elizabeth Straley Adkisson. She married Leland Edward Murray on August 12, 1955. She was a homemaker who enjoyed dining out and shopping. Mrs. Murray passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by one infant granddaughter, Angela Gail Murray, March 21, 1971. Survivors include her son Bobby Murray and his wife Carolyn, daughter Darla Murray, four grandchildren; Michael Murray, David Murray, Scott Reynolds, and Krista Lewis, five great-grandchildren; Dustin Murray, Hailey Murray, Kaygan Reynolds, Jon Reaves, Connor Wallis, and three siblings, Junior Adkisson, Geneva Holt, and Wanda English. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. Funeral services will be Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Tom Bulick will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Reynolds, Garrison Lewis, Michael Murray, David Murray, Jack Reynolds and Lanny Holt. Burial will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Shane, Beverly, Dea, Melissa, Ramon, Pam, Courtney and all the ICU staff at Medical Center Arlington for their compassionate care.
