Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Bible Church, 4800 El Campo Ave., Fort Worth 76107, Pastor Daniel Kirk officiating. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Joseph was born in Midlothian on Nov. 1, 1925. He married Irene Johnson Oct. 23, 1999. He graduated from Baylor University in 1950 with a bachelor of business administration, served in the U.S. Army, he was employed with General Motors, AC Delco and most recently proprietor of Dallas Stripe & Zone Marking. Joe was a faithful Christian, husband and patriarch of his family. He sowed love into those he knew and was counsel to those in need. He loved Rush, his dog and best friend. Joe's interests included football, politics and John Deere tractors. Irene, his beautiful wife, is the love of his life. Joe was predeceased by wife, Francis Johnson; brothers, Cecil and Ralph Johnson; and children, Joel Acres, Russell and Brian DeLozier. Survivors: Joe is survived by his loving wife, Irene Johnson; sister, Evelyn Bryson; children, Ron DeLozier, Sharon Maxwell, Rodney DeLozier and Melanie Lashley; grandchildren, Andrew Sellers, Bret and Angie Maxwell, Melissa DeLozier, Robert DeLozier, Jennifer Giles, Jeremy DeLozier, Courtney, Heather and Micah Shackel; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Dia Sellers, Timothy Guereca, Jordan and Jason Moreno, Bailey Giles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
